hello! today i will talk about my messy top 4, that always changes. i do have favorite movies, but something about showcasing other films is very fun! i added short descriptions to give some sort of mystery.
1. valentino (1977) - my favorite biopic made by ken russell. it's about rudolph valentino and his life. its so campy, beautiful to look at. it made me fell in love with 1920s!
2. bringing up baby (1938) - a classic in old hollywood. do i need more to say? its so so fun. also i love the cary grant and katherine hepburn duo.
3. video weavings (1974) - an experimental short movie; a link between video, technology and ancient weaving. past and present meeting. it has beautful neon colors.
4. the enchantment of the blue sailors (1975) - since i was little i was so interested in the stories of sirens, mermaids etc. and this short movie is kind of my current, queer view on it.
